Very effective to cover up gray hair!

This product is a game changer! My mom dyes her hair regularly to cover up gray hair. She always complained about irritation of the scalp from drug store brands. This product is very gentle and completely scentless. The no mix feature is also very convenient. Definitely will buy it again. I wish they come up with more colours in the future though.

No PPD and hypoallergenic!

Works as described (purchased on my husbands Amazon account). I have had terrible allergic reactions (swollen face) to hair dyes and henna products but this one seems to be working for me with no issues. This is after two 20 min sessions, I expect the 3rd one to cover all of if not most of my greys. I’ll definitely continue to use this product. I can’t speak for how long it lasts after washing my hair once reaching full coverage but there’s lots of product in the bottle so I don’t mind doing touch ups when needed. At least there are no allergic reactions so no complaints. I’ll update after a couple of months if things don’t work out.

Gentle but surprisingly effective for gray coverage

I’ve been using this Gift Bundle for about a month and I’m honestly impressed. My scalp is quite sensitive, so I’ve avoided traditional hair dye for years, but this routine feels very gentle and non-irritating.

The Cleansing Shampoo leaves my hair clean without that “stripped” feeling, and it really seems to prep the hair so the Gray Hiding Treatment works better. The treatment itself is easy to apply, doesn’t drip, and the colour looks very natural – it softens and blends my grays instead of giving a harsh, flat tone. It is totally new product!

This is a true no-mix formula, not something that you pump out two different creams at the same time and mix it while you brush it on. It has no smell at all, which is unlike any other hair dye. It is very convenient, the dye only takes a few minutes to develop. I put it on before my shower, brush my teeth, and then wash it off in the shower. The result is very natural, unlike other black dye that gives a “fake hair” look. I have been using it once every week to maintain the colour.

PPD (para-phenylenediamine) is used in permanent hair dyes to make color long-lasting and natural, but it’s also a leading cause of allergic reactions.

Can people allergic to PPD use Inochroma?

Yes. Inochroma products are PPD-free (and free from similar chemicals) and are a safer option for sensitive users while still providing effective gray coverage. Perform a 48-hour patch test if you have sensitive skin.

Longevity

How long does the coverage last?

Inochroma is semi-permanent and lasts about 2–4 weeks on natural grey hair.

When should I use the Grey Hiding Treatment?

Apply on dry hair before taking a shower for best results.

Color

Will it make my hair too dark?

No worries—the cream may look very dark, but only a small amount of dye transfers. It’s buildable coverage, so you can control darkness with multiple applications.

Results

I don’t see results after one use—what should I do?

It may take up to 3 applications for significant darkening, especially on thick or completely white hair. For faster results, pre-treat with the Inochroma Grey Hiding Booster Serum.

Booster

What does the Booster Serum do, and how do I use it?

The Booster Serum helps the pigment bind to hair follicles, reducing the number of applications needed for a very dark effect. Apply the serum on dry hair, let it dry completely, then use the Grey Hiding Treatment as normal.

Safety

Can it stain skin or clothing?

Yes. Use gloves and wear old clothes. To help prevent skin tinting, apply a thin layer of Vaseline along the hairline and behind the ears.

Pigment

Why does the cream look darker on top?

The pigment naturally darkens from light brown to black when exposed to oxygen. The top can darken if the container wasn’t fully sealed. It’s still effective and safe as long as it’s not completely black.

Color-treated

Can I use it on pre-coloured hair?

Yes. Results may vary depending on your previous shade and the dye you’re applying. We recommend a strand test first.

Sensitive

Is it safe for sensitive skin?
